A Bit Of Anything

faensoundslikefun replied to your post: I’m going to attempt finishing the Symposium now.

Be brave! Be brave! Be brave!

FINISHED IT! Soon I’ll finish the rest of Shelley On Love and start North and South!

I’d completely forgot about that bit where Alcibiades crashes the party drunk and gushes about how awesome Socrates is and how desperately he’s in love with him, it was hilarious! Though I’m not the biggest fan of Plato because I’m not a fan of arguing in general, and lately whenever I’m with my friends they seem to enjoy endless philosophical debates and I’m like would it be rude if I took out my book?
