I’d completely forgot about that bit where Alcibiades crashes the party drunk and gushes about how awesome Socrates is and how desperately he’s in love with him, it was hilarious! Though I’m not the biggest fan of Plato because I’m not a fan of arguing in general, and lately whenever I’m with my friends they seem to enjoy endless philosophical debates and I’m like would it be rude if I took out my book?

Drunk philosophers are the best! :D I’m currently reading a rather amusing excerpt from The Times about the Crimean War and the charge of the Light Brigade, in preparation to reading Tennyson’s poem about it. Aaah, those patriotic British! :’)
